exitvoidweek 8 ( DESERT 1 )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - Shinpachi arrives in Zelien and meets a whole lot of people by the train station: Sherry, Jason, Kenshin, Ivan, Oz, Akane and Kamui. He also meets up with people from back home like Kondou, Saitou, Hijikata, Chizuru and Heisuke. Later that day he ends up looking around Zelien and talking with Lara in the museum that was open back then about history in general.
day 2 - Kondou sends out a message to the Shinsengumi about setting up a justice system (and later more of a patrolling sort of thing) in Zelien. While still trying to explore this place Shinpachi runs into the Lone Wanderer in the dorms and discovers about music players from the future.
day 4 - A cave has opened up with a desert in it under the museum. Shinpachi ends up exploring it and runs into Hijikata and Saitou and they discuss the situation.
week 9 ( DESERT 2 )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 3 - By week 9 a sandstorm forces everyone in Zelien to look for refuge in the desert cave. The Shinsengumi set up camp there but Shinpachi spots Hijikata going off by himself and asks him about it. When the man doesn't return after a little while, Shinpachi goes out looking to drag him back when he finds him wounded.
day 4 - Shinpachi decides to go fishing to get food for the whole Shinsengumi group. He first runs into a fishing Jason and then ends up teaching Ib how to fish. He also ends up dragging Kenshin and Oz into his dumb fishing with bare hands shenanigans.
day 5 - He runs into Hiyoko and tries to keep her from playing with dangerous things (the scarabs) but just gets talked down to instead. His life. Shinpachi ends up trying to take Saitou along to watch for the crocodiles while he fishes and they end up fighting one and taking it back to the camp for dinner.
week 10 ( TORTURE )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - New people arrive in Zelien. Shinpachi first runs into Souji who just arrived and Stiles who's complaining about the fact that there's only creamed corn for them to eat and then goes to look and see for himself who arrived at the train station. He ends up meeting Rei, Phoenix and Yuuki. He also meets Ootori and Kaoru without realising who exactly they are or that they're even from the same world. After that he talks with Sojiro but he ends up (accidentally) telling Shinpachi that all the other Shinsengumi members except for him and one other person end up dying in the end.
day 2 - And to make it worse, the next day they find out COMPASS has locked some people in cages to punish them for all the wrongdoings the group has committed. Among them are Chizuru and Heisuke, but Shinpachi can only talk with them instead of really help them since they're unreachable thanks to the Void.
day 6 - Once the two are being tortured and then killed Shinpachi tries to desperately try to help one last time with Kondou, but the two end up not being able to do anything.
week 11 ( SPEAKEASY )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - After that whole mess Oz ends up sending Shinpachi a message checking on him. He ends up wandering around a little and spots Ib coloring by herself in the dorms, talking to her a little bit out of worry for such a little girl.
day 3 - He runs into Oz at the "modern" clothing store when he goes out.
day 4 - Shinpachi discovers about the speakeasy and decides to just drink away all the thoughts about what happened last week and being told about the bleak future. There he runs into Laughing Beauty, Ivan, Kaoru and Caboose.
day 5 - More drinking. This time with Oz, Saitou and Kondou who he ends up having to drag back to the dorms in the end.
day 6 - Shinpachi ends up talking with Viral about what to do about COMPASS while drinking. He briefly spots Shiranui in the speakeasy but ends up losing track of him and ends up talking to Kazama instead.
day 7 - During his last day of available booze Shinpachi ends up talking to Lavi at the speakeasy.
week 12 ( CARNIVAL )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 2 - Shinpachi ends up helping out Stiles with grabbing some actually good food now it's here again in case the creamed corn ends up making an unwanted comeback.
day 3 - He ends up actually going to see what the whole carnival thing is about that's in Zelien this week with Yuuki and tries to show off to her.
day 4 - Another carnival day except this time he goes by himself and runs into more people: Madoka and Caboose.
day 5 - The teddy bear that Kondou won him as a gift at the carnival starts acting creepy and popping up at his bedside every morning, so Shinpachi decides to contact him over it. Later that day he ends up dragging Rei around the carnival in an attempt to let her have fun, but it just ends up pretty awkward when he hurts her with the shooting game.
day 7 - Week ten messed up his plans completely to talk to anyone about what he learned from Sojiro, but after two calmer weeks Shinpachi finally decides to bring it up to Hijikata.
week 13 ( CINEMA )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - New people arrive once more. Shinpachi ends up talking to Minako when he goes to look if anyone he knows arrived this time.
day 2 - When going out to see if he can get anything useful (for either himself or the whole Shinsengumi group) at the shops, he instead gets distracted by the cinema building to ponder over what it could be. And so Shinpachi learned about movies with Kaoru, Ootori, Merton and Kenshin and no attempt went particularly well. Whoops.
day 3 - Deciding to be better at the whole movies thing today since it did seem pretty cool, Shinpachi tries inviting Rei along to the movies this time to make up for his failed attempt at making her have fun last week. It goes.. slightly.. better..?
day 4 - Deciding Chizuru could have some more fun too after the bad things that happened to her in this place, Shinpachi drags her out to the movies too because of his enthusiasm over them. At night Yuuki and Heisuke both end up invading his room.
day 6 - Hijikata and Kazama decide to have a dick comparing contest in the middle of the hallway in the middle of the night.. and Shinpachi's room is right inbetween them, so he ends up getting woken up by the noise and interfering.
day 7 - Souji tells Shinpachi that Kaoru actually isn't a girl (to Shinpachi's embarassment since he couldn't figure it out himself all this time) and other unpleasant facts.
week 14 ( RIFT: JERUSALEM'S LOT )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - A rift event starts and the characters end up in a mishmash of various Stephen King stories. Shinpachi regains consciousness in the middle of a thick mist with monsters all over the place in it. Needless to say he quickly starts getting through it and trying to help people out like Caboose, Nill, Minako and Klavier.
day 2 - By the time he arrives in the actual town he meets up with the rest of the Shinsengumi and they decide to camp out together in the Overlook Hotel for the time being. Shinpachi doesn't sit around though and goes to explore the town, running into Laughing Beauty in her octopus form and mistaking her for a monster at first.
day 3 - Shinpachi runs into Kenshin and Sojiro and together they end up fighting
day 4 - He ends up spotting Rei going out for a drink at night and decides to accompany her because of all the danger around. And he's not even drinking. I know. The true horror of the rift event.
day 7 - Everything goes to shit. In the middle of the clusterfuck Shinpachi runs into Kondou attacking Souji and steps inbetween them to defend the latter, but then realises that something happened to Kondou to make him lose his mind and suddenly be a lot stronger than usually - and he also realises that the only way to stop Kondou from doing things he'll later regret is to put him down. He ends up taking the responsibility onto himself.
week 15 ( RAINFOREST )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - Souji and Shinpachi ended up taking the scavenged goods with them back to Zelien after all that shit and have a talk about what happened.
day 2 - Oz contacts him over the pocket watch devices.
day 3 - After being officially Done with stuff for a little while, Shinpachi ends up contacting Minako, Caboose and Rei to see how they're doing after last week. He also asks Heisuke to come hang out. Yuuki ends up having some snake trouble when he contacts her.
day 4 - He finally contacts Ivan and Kondou about last week's events. Or, well, just leaves a message for Kondou since the other man can't see it yet thanks to his death penalty. When he gets hungry afterwards and goes to look for some food he ends up running into Lavi who's planning to eat a snake instead.
day 6 - When leaving the dorms to take his frustration out on some of the wildlife, Shinpachi instead finds Kenshin sleeping in the middle of the hallway.
week 16 ( TRAIN )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - The train with new arrivals ends up crashing. Outside the wreckage Shinpachi finds out that Sano was one of the people who arrived that way and meets up with him. He also tries to help Leanne and Michonne out of the wreckage and talks to Elliot and Chitose near the wreck itself. He sends Hijikata a message to let him know Sano is in Zelien too and discovers he got a message back from Kondou in response to the one he sent last week now the death penalty wore off. And Yuuki screams at him about Souji through text.
( there's some shit about the giant eye in the sky being taken down and it raining blood inbetween here and there but Shinpachi's smarter than to go walk in that shit okay. Just here so I remember it's a thing that happened. )
day 5 - He ends up running into Armin using the grammaphone in the dorms.
week 17 ( POWERLOSS )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - Shinpachi drags Sano out to try and find some food only to find the grocery is completely empty. They talk about everything that's happened in Zelien up to that point.
day 2 - He tries to look through the other stores for food and runs into Hijikata in the bookstore.
day 3 - Shinpachi ends up sending Klavier finally a message to check up on him again thanks to the powerloss situation. At night (because he's up late for the patrols if those are a thing yet at that point..) he notices Mikoto looking for her cellphone.
day 4 - Desperate to escape the creamed corn nightmare, Shinpachi takes Saitou out to hunt for food once more.
week 18 ( BARRIER )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 4 - Stiles is guarding his food supply from people who want to take some, Shinpachi runs into him during his watch.
day 6 - At the end of the week Shinpachi runs into Kaoru for the first time since he's found out who Kaoru really is. Pettiness over food ensues.
week 19 ( RIFT - 28 DAYS LATER )
STATUS. ■■■■■
Shinpachi mostly hangs out with Sano for the first half of the week. The both of them run into Rei, Oz, Kazama, Leanne, Saitou and Megumi.
week 20 ( PARTY'S OVER )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - The speakeasy is back and naturally Shinpachi goes for the booze. While he's drunk off his ass, he runs into Leanne and Ivan. He also goes drinking with Sano.
day 4 - After day 3 a man is discovered dead, but Shinpachi doesn't see it as a problem and decides to go drinking all the same. Saitou stops him in the most dignified way possible by sitting on him.
day 7 - But when the babysitter is away, Shinpachi drinks all the same on day 6 and that just happens to be the drugged booze that makes you stab happy. He ends up injuring Klavier when he bumps into the guy and also injures Sano before being knocked out by the latter.
week 21 ( DREAMS )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - Obviously the worst regret hangover happens, and when he's trying to deal with the aftermath for the first time, he runs into Rei.
day 2 - Leanne leaves him a message after she experienced the same thing as him at the end of last week.
mid-week - The Shinsengumi have family dinner.
week 22 ( ENDGAME )
STATUS. ■■■■■
day 1 - Oz helps Sano and Shinpachi escape from the dorms building while the former is wounded.
